OPEN CALL - World Music Festival Bratislava 2026
If you are a world music artist or group, have a folk music project, or create crossover music rooted in traditions and cultural heritage (folk, ethno, jazz), apply via the form by 5 July 2026 and earn a showcase slot at the largest Slovak world music festival, attended by international music delegates as well.

The musical quintet Sur Varsha and the dance ensemble Lok Chhanda brought the scent of the Orient.
What was the jubilee, tenth edition of World Music Festival Bratislava like?
From Friday to Sunday, September 19–21, lovers of world music can look forward to the jubilee 10th edition of the World Music Festival Bratislava. The organizers have once again prepared a high-quality program featuring many outstanding artists, several of whom will perform in Slovakia for the first time. Concerts will take place at various venues and, for the first time, not only in Bratislava but also in Trenčín.
World Music Festival Bratislava
We are preparing a three-day program featuring many top-tier artists, some of whom will be performing in Slovakia for the very first time. Have you been missing Flamenco and Tango at the festival? The first day will be dedicated to outstanding international representatives of these genres.
The theme is world music and emotion in dance.
The second day will focus on the connection between world music and spirituality in its various forms, with exceptional musical guests.
On the third day, concerts by Slovak artists will showcase both innovative and traditional interpretations of folk music.
