Hilder Brando, a.k.a. KillaBeatMaker, is a Colombian DJ and producer who mixes the strong influence of his Afro-Colombian roots with the sound of the urban club scene. The result is an organic blend of indigenous Latin American tradition and contemporary electronica. He debuted in 2019 with the EP Fauna, a record with an environmental dimension. During live performances with a live-set band, he uses various percussion instruments, traditional flutes, and the language of Andean indigenous tribes, in addition to Spanish. In October, KillaBeatMaker and his three-piece band brought their electrifying vibes to the audience at WOMEX 2023. This year they are going to do the same for the first time in Bratislava.
